We have compiled a selection of accounts of unintentional carbon monoxide poisoning incidents, recounted to us by survivors or the loved ones of those who have tragically lost their lives. The accounts cover a variety of causes, fuels, appliances and situations. They are divided into pages of fatal and non-fatal cases, which are accessed via the links on the right-hand side of this page. Each page has a list of case studies, arranged in chronological order and starting with the most recent.
We are, as always, extremely grateful to those who have helped us in the creation of these studies, which can be a very difficult and painful process. We hope that they are informative and we have no doubt they will help a great many people.
