Artistic youngsters have helped to raise awareness of carbon monoxide gas.
Year 6 pupils at Brancaster Primary School are taking part in a national poster competition organised by the Carbon Monoxide and Gas Safety Society.
Community fire officer Leigh Bagshaw and Julia Heywood, from Environmental Health, also spoke to the children during an awareness day at the school.
The two officers set children a number of tasks, including monitoring air control and a team work, during the event, which was sponsored by R P Air Testing.
Jack Rodwell won the school’s poster competition.
Society president Stephanie Trotter OBE was also present and is hoping more schools will take part in the national competition, which closes on July 31.
Volunteer Ros Piggott was delighted with the day.
